Brenda
Brenda

Brenda holds a Personal Trainer Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as a Lifestyle and Weight Management Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Born and raised in the Santa Clara Valley and an avid nature lover, she enjoys cardiovascular and weight training, bicycling, hiking in the mountains and snow shoeing in the Tahoe forest preserve. Brenda personally achieved a 65-lb. weight loss and has maintained her healthier weight for over 10 years. Her life's passion now is helping others become fit and healthy as a means of truly living life to its fullest. Brenda's clients appreciate her compassionate nature and ability to relate to the difficulties associated with weight loss and beginning fitness.

Brenda's philosophy about fitness is simple: "It's never too late to get in shape!"

Carrie
Carrie

Carrie received her Personal Trainer Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 1999 and the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certification in 2007. Additionally, she holds a B.S. in Business Administration. A native Californian, Carrie's hobbies include strength training, running, spinning, yoga and learning to play the drums. Her ultimate satisfaction is to help an individual realize his/her maximum potential both physically and mentally, and to create an awareness by bridging the gap between mind and body. Previously an aerobics instructor at Squaw Valley's Olympic Village Inn, Carrie has completed two marathons: 1998 Mayor's Midnight Run in Anchorage, Alaska and the 1999 Silicon Valley Marathon in San Jose, California. Her clients enjoy her serious attitude toward their fitness program along with her friendliness and sense of humor. Carrie's fitness motto is this: I'd rather say "I'm glad I did it" than "I wish I had done it"!

Cessy
Cessy

Cessy comes to 4EverFit with over 17 years of personal training and nutritional counseling experience, including her own fitness studio in Talkeetna, Alaska. Men and women alike enjoy her careful but challenging workouts to help them meet their fitness goals. An ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified trainer, Cessy also completed the personal training certification at California State University Hayward as well as the Nutritional Studies Program at San Jose State University and the ACE Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant certification.

She consistently focuses on educating clients on health, nutrition and proper exercise techniques. Her personal hobbies include trail & beach running, weight training, hiking and listening to music.

Cessy's fitness motto is "Make exercise a part of your lifestyle!"




Devon
Devon

A longtime sports enthusiast, Devon has always made exercise a priority in his life. His hobbies include tennis, gymnastics, racquetball, running, and especially weight training. Devon is credentialed through World Instructor Training Schools (WITS), an outstanding national certification program offered at De Anza College. He enjoys working with people of all ages and fitness levels, encouraging, motivating and inspiring them to achieve their maximum fitness potential. Clients appreciate Devon's patience, determination and guidance as they progress to a healthy body and mind.

Lorie
Lorie

An ACE certified trainer since 2003, Lorie also received a masters degree in Nutrition and Food Science from SJSU in 1998 and is a registered dietitian. Well equipped to help clients meet their health and fitness goals, Lorie is a popular trainer who exhibits patience and dedication to her clients. On a personal level, Lorie has participated in several marathons including the San Francisco marathon in 1998, Silicon Valley Marathon in 1999 and the Danskins Women's Triathlon in 2000. Her hobbies include running, walking, hiking and swimming with her two yellow Labrador Retrievers. She also enjoys strength training, road bicycling and ballroom dancing. Lorie is currently working toward becoming a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.

Melissa
Melissa

Melissa is a highly skilled AFAA personal trainer as well as a popular AFAA yoga instructor. Melissa loves to incorporate plenty of functional and core training into the workouts she designs for her many devoted clients and has a knack for making exercise fun. Her close attention and focus during personal training sessions is apparent to all. Originally from Texas, Melissa has spent a lifetime playing sports, a natural lead-in to choosing a career in personal training and yoga instruction. Melissa's specialty is combining weight training for strength with yin yoga for joint flexibility and core strength. She has found that the restorative nature of yin yoga perfectly balances with strengthening for injury avoidance and improved flexibility. Melissa loves the one-on-one relationship that is built between trainer & client and thrives on the direct impact that she has on their health and lives.

Erika
Erika

An enthusiastic and talented ISSA certified personal trainer, Erika has brought a lifetime of passion for staying in shape to the clients whose lives she helps to transform. She understands the necessity to balance endurance exercise with a solid, progressive strength-training program, all the while also ensuring her clients are having fun in the process of getting fit. Erika grew up on her school track and cross-country team which in adulthood evolved to long-distance runs, half marathons, full marathons and even one “ultra-marathon”! She enjoys passing on her knowledge and love of exercise, healthy eating and all-around good energy to her clients. Erika approaches each individual as just that, an individual. Her motto is “Every BODY is different and no matter what your specific goal, Erika will get you there.”

Samuel
Samuel

With over two decades experience as certified personal trainer, currently certified through APEX, ACE, NSCA-CSCS Strength & Conditioning Coach, USA Weight Lifting Certified Club Coach, National Academy of Sports Medicine Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Instructor in seven different martial arts styles, Sam is highly qualified to work with clients of all fitness levels and goals. A five-times world champion in Korean martial arts and with over 70 national and international martial arts titles, Sam's enthusiasm for the martial arts is clear. In addition to his work as a personal trainer, Sam is also a chiropractor and licensed ergonomist. He did post graduate extended studies on rehab, post-rehab of Ortho/Neuro patients, sports medicine and nutrition. His undergraduate work included occupational health, and workplace safety. Specializing in strength and conditioning, Sam also has a background in rehab, post-rehab strengthening, speed/strength training, kettlebell training, body building, boxing, kickboxing, soccer, running and nutritional counseling. Sam encourages his clients never to give up on meeting their fitness goals!

Carlos
Carlos

Carlos brings seven years of personal training experience to 4EverFit along with many years experience in the field of soccer coaching both in this country and abroad. Specializing in all aspects of fitness training such as functional and core strengthening, TRX, kettle bells, sports specific training, weight loss, balance and injury prevention, Carlos has been certified as a personal fitness trainer since 2008 through the National Fitness Association and is currently working on his certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Carlos’ clients describe his workouts as both challenging and enjoyable. On a personal note, Carlos enjoys soccer, working out and Latin dance.

Tim
Tim

Originally from New Orleans and a veteran of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, Tim is an experienced personal trainer with several highly respected certifications. In addition to the National Academy of Sports Medicine personal trainer certification, Tim also holds NASM’s Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist certifications. Having received his B.A. in Liberal Arts from Louisiana Tech University, Tim made a career change into fitness six years ago after completing a personal training internship at Foothill College. Specializing in weight loss, corrective exercise and post-physical therapy, Tim’s training sessions focus on functional training using core stability, strength training and improving flexibility and range of motion. Clients find their workouts to be fun and enjoyable, yet challenging. Tim enjoys living a healthy lifestyle and has personally lost over 40 lbs. As part of his collegiate cycling team, Tim has raced over 12 states and Canada, placing 6th at the Panamerican Championship in Warda, Texas in 1997 and 3rd place at a Canadian National in 1998. Tim’s hobbies also include hiking, mountain biking, camping and trail running.

Cody
Cody

As a W.I.T.S. (World Instructor Training Schools) certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Cody comes to 4EverFit with a passion for helping clients become all they can be. In addition to his work as a personal fitness trainer, Cody is also a tennis conditioning coach for a local youth team. The energy and confidence that fitness brings to the life of his clients is the driving force behind Cody’s passion for personal training. Having been athletic and focused on fitness the past eight years, Cody brings his knowledge and understanding of strength and cardiovascular conditioning to the clients of 4EverFit Personal Training Studio. He enjoys keeping up on new training styles and reading as much as he can about exercise physiology and cutting-edge training techniques. Cody’s clients appreciate his patience and encouragement during the process of finding their way to a higher level of fitness and well-being. In his own words Cody points out “I believe in bringing out the best in each client. All I need is their dedication and willingness to do what it takes to meet their goals.”

Shohreh
Shohreh

Shohreh is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) seasoned trainer. She received her Personal Trainer certification in 2000 and the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certification in 2007. Shohreh completed the Y.E.S. Yoga Teacher Training and mentorship program to finalize her yoga certification in 2008, and completed level two advanced teacher training Certificate in Therapeutic Applications of Yoga in 2010. Her passion is helping people gain a strong foundation (core), lose weight, gain energy, prevent disease, and improve posture and bone density. In addition to personal training, Shohreh also offers one-on-one or semi-private yoga instruction. She uses an eclectic style of yoga, focusing on breathing and some hands-on instructor adjustments. Many clients enjoy a combination of traditional strength training and yoga during their sessions with Shohreh. On a personal level, she enjoys yoga, weight training, Tai Chi, walking, hiking and bicycling outdoors. Shohreh is a caring and compassionate trainer who enjoys working with beginners. She takes the "just do it" message to the next level with this message — "...and do it right", since lack of knowledge about proper form and program design can lead to injury. Her philosophy about fitness is that any type of exercise can and will help tap into the body's wisdom and connect the mind, body and spirit. Shohreh is fluent in both English and Farsi.

Pragalbha
Pragalbha

Pragalbha began studying and practicing yoga as a young girl growing up in India and has made this practice a key component of her life throughout adulthood. Registered as RYT with the Yoga Alliance, Pragalbha completed Yoga Teacher Training Level One in 2003 and completed level two advanced teacher training Certificate in Therapeutic Applications of Yoga in 2010. Pragalbha has studied with numerous experts in the field of Hatha yoga by attending workshops and/or teacher’s immersion in different styles of yoga, including Iyengar, Anusara and Vinyasa. Pragalbha teaches an eclectic yoga style with strong emphasis on optimum alignment while building strength and flexibility with detail and hands-on adjustments. Individualized sessions include static postures and dynamic movements, breathing techniques and relaxation methods. Sessions are designed as a form of physical exercise for fitness and toning, improving posture, positive attitude, peace and energy. Therapeutic yoga is helpful in alleviating headaches, back pain, knee, shoulder and wrist problems, insomnia, stress and anxiety. Pragalbha believes everyone has access to a productive yet stress-free and pain-free life. Her patient coaching for both beginners and intermediate yoga students creates a bond that becomes instrumental in helping clients find their way to change. Besides yoga, Pragalbha also enjoys hiking, walking and reading for knowledge.
